If you store your password, anyone with access to your device can sign on to your AOL account. However, the Device Password and Device Timeout options allow you to assign a password for access to your device, which will prevent anyone signing on to your AOL account from your device. Refer to the Device Security section for details. |

The Auto Sign On option only displays if you have chosen Yes
to save your password. If you want all your Sign On information automatically
entered when you sign on in subsequent sessions, press the roller, highlight
Change Option and press the roller.

Note: If you sign off or power off your device, then attempt to Send
an IM or an e-mail, the following message displays: You must be connected to perform
this operation. Would you like to connect? Press the roller on Yes and you
are automatically signed on if you have Auto Sign On set to Yes. |
The Device Password and Device Timeout options allow you to assign a password for access to your device, which will prevent anyone with access to your device from signing on to your AOL account. Use the Device Timeout option to set the activity timer (from 2 to 60 minutes.) When there has been no activity on your device for the time period you have set, your device will automatically be locked and will look similar to this:

Your AOL Mobile Communicator device contains a wireless radio, which you may need to turn off when there is the possibility that it will interfere with other radio communications, such as during an airline flight.

Highlight Power Off and press the roller. If you are signed on to the AOL service, you will automatically be signed off, then the device will power off. Powering off the device will also help conserve battery life. |

The Change Screen Name option allows you to switch the screen name you use with your device to any of the screen names on your account at any time.
Note: You can also switch the screen name you use with your device by going to AOL Keyword: AOL Mobile Communicator on your PC and clicking on the Change Screen Name link.
Make sure your device is powered on during the Change Screen Name process; the Change Screen Name option does not display if you are not signed on to the AOL service.
